Andy Mumford - long exposure

This is one of Andy Mumford's long exposure photos, he used a tripod for this photograph to keep the camera as still as possible. While the shutter was open you can see that the boat in the picture has obviously moved causing the photograph to have a blurred image of where the boat previously was and moved too.
I am going to buy myself a tripod as to capture great photos using long exposure the camera will need to stay very still for the period of time that the shutter is open to maintain good focus and un-blured photos.

Michael Wesely - ultra long exposure

This is one of Michael Wesely's ultra long exposure photographs. The photo took 2 years to create and shows new structures being built over time next to the old buildings! The photo shows that the cranes were there for quite a long time as they are bold and clear in the photo unlike the new building that has not been there for long so it appears see through/ ghost like.
I found this photograph on this website which contains a lot of Michael Wesely's work:

Long exposure

I got this photo from the website "flickr". This photograph is of cars driving along the road while the cameras shutter is left open to capture all the light, because of this it shows the movement of the cars as it  captures the light and shows where its going.

Long exposure

This is a photograph taken with long exposure. I found this photograph on google images.
By leaving the shutter open for longer periods of time it allows more light into the lens and can capture movement.

Disco Lights

I took this photograph at a wedding disco, i have not edited this photograph. There are lights in each of the arches projecting the colored lights on the walls.
