These photographs have been taken using very long exposure which allows you to see the movement in the clouds and running water. It also allows light that we would not see from the eye to be picked up and is often more vibrant colours. This can create great effects like these photos.
To take photos using long exposure the camera needs to stay still the whole time so that the photograph is not blurred, it is best to use a tripod.
